Is it any wonder that Joanna Gaines‘ kids have artistic talents? The famed interior designer posted the sweetest video on Instagram of her son Crew, who was hard at work at his pottery wheel, and fans are swooning over the adorable scene. The 6-year-old looks deep in thought as he carefully molds a teeny lump of clay with his tools.

“This little one knows the way to my heart … miniatures!!!” the lifestyle mogul captioned the post. “These tiny vases he made for me are just perfect. 😍”

The little guy eventually grabs some greenery to put in the tiny vase. The video then cuts to footage of a whole collection of Crew’s impressive creations. There are a bunch of mini vases and some much larger counterparts — each with its own distinct and “just perfect” design.

Followers were obsessed with Crew’s kid-sized pottery wheel that came with sculpting tools, a sponge for smoothing, and a cover to keep carved-out bits of clay contained.

“Oh my goodness, I need this for my classroom!” one person said. Another added, “Well now I want one of those.”

And, luckily for all those fans, the pottery wheel is currently under 20 bucks at Target. [Insert squeals of delight!]

This kit — which is “perfect for any level, no experience necessary” — is beloved by most Target shoppers who said it was even fun for t(w)eens.

“It comes with good instructions and video links that teach how to use it pretty well,” one parent said. “The small scale size made it easy for her to learn … if she made a mistake it was easy enough for her to reset and try again. … I have little to no experience with pottery wheels and I had fun [too].”

“Finally a true no-mess pottery kit!” another said. “I have tried several different brands and have yet to find one that is actually mess-free and easy to use. I am so impressed … With the option to leave the dome on or freehand this is great even with children at different ages.”

Along with Crew, Gaines shares kids Drake, 20, Ella, 18, Duke, 16, and Emmie, 15 with husband Chip Gaines.

In 2019, the Hearth & Hand designer told People how important it is to her and her husband that they “instill kindness” in their five kids. “Every day we try to teach our own kids to be kind to themselves, to each other, to neighbors and especially to those who look like they are alone,” she said.

And with his latest mini vase, Crew is showing kindness by doing something to make his mom smile.
