Dr. Martens has introduced the ‘Exoshield XX01 8-Eye Boot,’ a modern update to the brand’s iconic 8-Eye Boot. Combining elements of archival industrial design with contemporary materials, the boot is constructed using durable leather and Diamond Spacer Mesh, providing both strength and breathability. This design makes the boot suitable for colder weather while maintaining a functional and fashionable appearance for urban settings.
The ‘Exoshield XX01’ features tough leather paired with Diamond Spacer Mesh for a balance of durability and ventilation. It is reinforced with TPU panels and includes an exposed steel toe surrounded by a spiked, molded rubber guard for added protection. Inside, the boot offers a SoftWair insole and padded collar for comfort.
Additional design details include monochrome hardware, dual heel loops, and a bold flared outsole, which was first introduced with the 14XX Protect Pack. The boot is finished with black stitching and a yellow undercoat on the notched welt for enhanced durability.
