Men’s Corner

Adrien Brody, Andrew Garfield & More

Male celebrities brought their fashion A-game to the 2025 Oscars red carpet, with stars like Adrien Brody, Sebastian Stan, Colman Domingo and others making waves for their looks.

Classic suiting was the reigning theme among many male attendees, with most stars opting for a classic black suit or tuxedo, including nominees like Brody and Stan, as well as other actors like Joe Alywn, Kit Connor and others. The trend was also seen at January’s Golden Globes.

Despite going the classic route with their looks, many stars added an element of intrigue through their accessories, namely brooches, which have made a major comeback in popularity especially on the red carpet. Stan, for one, paired his classic tuxedo with a Cartier “Fauna and Flora” brooch crafted in 18-karat yellow gold set with white and yellow diamonds.

Alwyn complemented his custom JW Anderson tuxedo with a brooch from Bulgari, wearing a high jewelry style designed in pink gold and featuring a 20-carat cabochon rubellite, three amethyst beads, three citrine quartz beads, six round diamonds and several pavé-set diamonds.

While classic menswear reigned, some stars opted for more adventurous red carpet looks. This was seen on actors like Andrew Garfield, who wore a brown Gucci suit paired with a silk button up, and nominated actor Domingo, who wore a custom Valentino look consisting of a red shantung silk double breasted tailored jacket and trousers. Domingo kept up the brooch trend by pairing the Valentino suit with a Boucheron ribbon clip from 1956. Some of the edgiest looks were worn by fashion lovers and Oscar nominees Chalamet and Jeremy Strong. Chalamet donned a butter yellow custom suit by Givenchy, while Strong continued with the green color theme he has donned throughout awards season, this time wearing an olive green tuxedo by Loro Piana.
