As a shopping editor, I’ve probably written about running shoes hundreds of times. I’ve also tried nearly all the big name brands out there, from HOKA and Nike, to Skechers, New Balance, and Adidas. While I wouldn’t necessarily consider myself the ultimate expert on all things sneaker-related (that’s our shopping writer!), I’ve tested enough to confidently say that I have a few favorites. If you’re looking for the best of the best arch support, cloud-like comfort, and a shoe that’ll keep your feet happy all day, you’ll want to get your feet into the On Cloudnova 2. Just recently, On even dropped brand new colorways of their best-selling style for spring, and they’re actually super cute.

The On Cloudnova 2 is described as a “cushioned, everyday hero” that you can use for walks, runs, or even being on your feet all day. It was designed with the brand’s plush Zero-Gravity foam and a thicker underfoot wall, to make each step more smooth, stable, and comfortable. Not to mention, it’s super lightweight, breathable, and flexible, and made of material that’s soft to the touch.
While On has no shortage of super comfortable shoes (FYI, they just released a new version of the Cloudsurfer) the Cloudnova is one of my favorite sneakers. These are my go-to Disney Parks shoes, and have kept my feet from aching after 12-plus hour days of non-stop walking and standing in line. I also wore my first pair right out of the box for a Disney day and to my pleasant surprise, I wasn’t dying to get them off at the end of the night. My heels, which usually start to feel pain after being on my feet for hours, didn’t hurt at all. That honestly hasn’t been the case for me for any shoe from any other brand. And I’m not the only one who thinks so!
